An explosion on the road to Africom troops

The United States military command in Africa, AFRICOM, said that this morning, a military convoy of American and Somali forces exploded with a roadside mine.

The accident happened near the city of Kismayo. AFRICOM said there were no casualties from both the US and Somali forces.

AFRICOM is denying reports that it suffered casualties in the blast.
