DOHA —
The Prime Minister of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, who is on an official visit to Qatar, met with the former President of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo.
According to a statement issued by the prime minister’s office, Hamza and Farmajo “discussed the general situation in the country and the war against terrorism.”
This meeting came after Ex- Presidents Farmajo and Sheikh Sharif held a 2-day meeting last week at the Shirittoon Hotel in Ankara, Turkey, where they discussed the current situation in the country and agreed that there is great doubt about the attacks of Al-Shabaab. The Shabaab are taking the national army camps, and there is a need to do a thorough investigation into the cause of the massacre of the Somali government forces, which were one of the attacks on the Mawye camp.
