The president of DFS, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, refrained from condemning or condoling the death of poeter Jama Kadiye Ilmi, who died yesterday afternoon in an attack carried out by the Somaliland administration in the capital of Sool region in Lasanood.
Hassan Sheikh, who is in Dhusamareb, has already been accused of favoring the invasion of Muse Bihi’s command against the people of Lasanood, which took place in the month of August.
On the other hand, the Prime Minister Hamse Abdi Barre, who refrained from condemning the killing of poeter Jama Kadiye last night, was criticized after he spoke strongly this morning about the bombing that killed the poeter, noting that Somaliland will be held accountable.
“The killings and attacks on academics, poeters and the Somali nation in general is not acceptable to the Somaliland administration and is a very serious crime.”
