Israel and Hamas reach ceasefire agreement 

The agreement is in three stages.

The first will last 42 days:

– The release of 33 Israeli hostages by Hamas;

– Israel will release several hundred Palestinian hostages, including those convicted of killing Israelis;

– Palestinians in Gaza can return to the north of the region, Israeli troops will partially withdraw.

Negotiations on the next stages of the agreement will begin on the 16th day, but the continuation of the ceasefire is not guaranteed.
