Somali National athletics in China World Athletics 2023

Somalia sent an evidently oversize and unathletic female runner to participate in a 100m competition in China. She came last and recorded the slowest finish in the history of the competition.

Reports indicate that the lady had no sporting background and was picked to represent Somalia due to her familial ties with officials.

Somalia is ranked 1st in ‘World’s Most Corrupt Countries’.
