Somalian FM makes phone call to Egyptian counterpart to present outcomes of Ankara Trilateral Summit

Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration Badr Abdelatty received Saturday a phone call from his Somalian counterpart Ahmed Moalim Faki who presented the outcomes of the Ankara Trilateral Summit with Turkey and Ethiopia.

Minister Faki stressed Somalia’s insistence on respecting its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, which was supported by Minister Abdelatty who also underscored Egypt’s backing to the country in combating terrorism, and achieving security and stability.

The two ministers agreed on continuous joint coordination, and preparing for the trilateral meeting with Eretria for further consultations on regional affairs of joint concern, according to the statement released Sunday.
