Somaliland’s Election Dilemma: Musa Bihi’s War Politics and the Regional Stakes

At least 9 killed, fighting erupts between SSC-Khatumo forces and Somaliland soldiers in and around the town of Goof near Erigavo, located in the southeastern part of the Sanaag region of northern Somalia.

Prominent political Analyst Jibril Qoobey predicted that an inevitable war should happen

Those who prefer war against Erigavo do not understand that Musa Bihi wants war.

An election campaign that does not work,   is a conflict that will arise in Erigavo.

Also,   the difficult statements and decisions that come out of Villa Somalia gives Muse Bihi a well-done job.

The people of Somaliland see Muse Bihi as a war leader who can face conflicts and is more powerful than his competitors.

As of now,   75% of Moses is winning the election,   and he is encouraged now that his doubts are gone.

It is worth noting that Musa has the support of three important allies:

1. The UK’s support for diplomacy
2. The UAE supports the economy.
3. Ethiopia is supporting military equipment and the Armed Forces

But when he returns to the Somaliland political chair,   it seems that there is no hope for Somalis to come together,   and they are wiping out broad plans that will destroy unity.
