Speaker of the Somali Parliament vows to secure the release detained former Al-Shabaab Deputy leader Mukhtar Robow.

“I promise to you that Mukhtar will be released,” he told clan elders in Baidoa.

Robow’s arrest on Dec 13 led to violent protests and the death of 15.
