The leader of the SSC, Abdul Qadir Ahmed Aw Ali, held a press conference in Lasanood, reported the defeat of the Somaliland administration forces in the battle that took place on the outskirts of Lasanood on Friday,August 25, 2023, which caused the Sool defense forces to occupy an area of 85 km and defend them. Formed in Guumeys area which is about 20-KM away from Oog area, where has a large command of the Somaliland army.
Abdulkadir Firdhiye mentioned that 260 prisoners were captured by Somaliland government forces, including war criminals, and he pointed out that Muse Bihi is currently organizing a war, and he will bear the responsibility for any attack.
