MOGADISHU —
The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jamac, welcomed his Ethiopian counterpart, Demeke Mekonnen Hassan, and a delegation he led to Mogadishu today.
According to the media of the Somali government, the two officials discussed the strengthening of the relationship between the two countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jamac, said that their talks focused on the relations between the two countries in the areas of trade, economic development, education, security and the fight against al-Shabab.
On the other hand, the Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia Demeke Mekonnen Hassan thanked for the way he was welcomed in Mogadishu.
He underlined how the Ethiopian government is committed to continuing its support to the Somali government.
