The construction of the 3G road that will connect the new port of Garacad, Gaalkacyo and the Ethiopia – Somalia border district of Goldogob is going well, which is progressing rapidly.

The construction of this road, which is a joint effort, will have a huge impact on the job market at Garacad Port, which is the biggest project that Somalis have ever built on a joint basis. Garacad Port is currently operating and is expecting to complete the construction of its third phase.
